Wondering how much toothpaste to put on your child’s toothbrush? We have the answer.

King Dental and the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry agree that you should use fluoridated toothpaste on your child’s toothbrush.

You may wonder how much toothpaste you should use? Here are our recommendations:
Ages 1 – 3 – use toothpaste the size of a grain of rice
Ages 3 – 6 – use toothpaste the size of a pea

We also recommend that you brush your children’s teeth twice a day to help prevent cavities.

If you have any questions about brushing your children’s teeth, ask our staff at King Dental. They are here to help! Call us today.
